The city of Heidelberg provides over 350 hectares of Commercial and Industrial areas. The Pfaffengrund commercial and industrial region lies in the western part of the city and with approximately 93 hectares, is the second biggest coherent industrial and commercial area after Rohrbach-Süd. It is situated, along with the other 11 existing Industrial and Commercial areas of Heidelburg, in the middle of Rhein-Neckar-Dreieck, the seventh largest economic region in Germany. This is one of the most economically prosperous regions of Germany while possessing one of the most beautiful landscapes of Europe. |
